Solar Thermal Systems
The simple explanation…
Think of a hot summer day when you go outside to your garden hose sitting in the sun. You turn on the spigot and out
of the hose comes…hot water! (At least for a moment or two.) What you’ve experienced is a simple example of solar
water heating in action.
Now imagine that same process but on a larger scale, with fluid slowly pumped through
a system of tubes in solar collectors outside your home. This solar thermal system is designed to transfer
heat to the water used in your home, either for domestic use or for the radiant heating of your home.

• Using solar thermal for Radiant Heating
